The journey of fear begun That day I had my first son Unable to protect was all I feared Until the second son appeared
A couple years later I would be told they were special
I’m beginning to ask where this gift came from But that doesn’t help It’s an ongoing drum
Now there’s no dull moment In our busy lives
I fall in love with the things These boys can do I love them so much Even their gift, too
They taught me what patience mean They make me laugh all the time Oh another caused a scene But it’s all just fine
Someday we’ll share a world A world we both can see We’ll continue to have fun Having fun is the key
I take less things for granted I have everything I want
Sometimes I get scared Sometimes I get sad But you two boys Have made me a better dad
